Golden Eagle Motor Court called home the Eastside BeltLine Trail’s only train depot in Reynoldstown: the Atlanta & West Point Railroad building. Originally sharing a wall with the restaurant Muchacho (also in the Electric Hospitality family), Golden Eagle honored the depot’s place in history though details such as menu covers that identically match the plaid carpeting, shiny gold matchbooks, gold-rimmed pilsner glassware, and motel key tags.
Gone but not forgotten, Golden Eagle’s last service was May 2, 2021.
